It’s been far too long since I’ve shared a newborn session! This one was particularly special to me. Ava’s parents are dear friends of mine, which always makes these sessions more fun. Ava was a rockstar baby, relaxing into every pose (even the bowl of candy corn) and snoozed the day away. Here are some of my favorite shots from her newborn portrait session…
Choosing a location for your engagement session can be daunting, especially in Austin where there are endless awesome options. Luckily, Jessica and Colin came to me with a very specific plan, and I loved their approach. They chose locations that meant something special to them: Mozart’s on Lake Austin and legendary diner, The Frisco. We added in Butler park for a gorgeous sunset shot. Whether it’s your favorite bar, the place you met, or where he proposed, choosing a meaningful engagement session location can add an extra layer of awesome to your engagement photos.
Lauren deserves a huge congrats for two things in particular: graduating nursing school (hooray!!) and braving the first day of freezing temps in Austin for her senior portraits. What a trooper! Oh, and a third thing: how she makes a cap and gown look THAT good… I mean, really.
Two words: THAT. DRESS. Chelsea is one of those women who naturally looks amazing in everything, but she really knocked it out of the park with her wedding look for our bridal portraits. I just love how the subtle stripes on the dress put a modern spin on a classic bridal silhouette. And her colorful wildflower bouquet fabulously ties the dress to the chic farmhouse venue, Vista West Ranch in Dripping Springs.
